determined by the meshing of the teeth. We are talking about the <strong>occlusal balance of the teeth<\/strong>, which must <strong>touch each other at the same time<\/strong>, at specific points, and in a <strong>balanced way between the right and the left<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If the balance is not respected<\/strong> in the static position of the jaws, or during the movements of the jaws that we constantly repeat when chewing, a muscular imbalance will occur that cannot be resolved by wearing night aligners alone.<\/p>\n<p>In these cases, the dentist must intervene in order to determine which teeth or restorations (crowns, bridges, composites or other) are causing this imbalance and touch them up punctually by a light <strong>selective grinding<\/strong>. The grinding is very often very superficial, limited to a small part of the dental enamel or the ceramic of a poorly balanced crown that generated the right meeting and the right dynamics of the jaws.<\/p>\n<p>In other cases, <strong>some teeth<\/strong> may be <strong>underbite<\/strong> and not touching the antagonist teeth.
